We’re super excited to invite you to our autumn event this November where we sit down with Clare from Whitewolfe Estates, a producer of premium English Chardonnay in Kent. 

Whitewolfe Estates was founded in 2019 by Clare Whitehead and Luke Wolfe and this year saw their first vintage released to great acclaim. They have a small 10-hectare vineyard in the Kits Coty region of Kent’s North Downs with a unique microclimate. In the careful hands of Clare and Luke, the untapped potential of this special place is being realised. 

Clare will chat to Women in Wine LDN about English grape growing and wine production, and how to start your own wine business without big investment. We will taste Kc1 and Kc2 and hear about Clare’s journey in the wine industry over the last 20 years.

The event will be an excellent way to learn more about what is happening with premium still wine production in England, as well as exploring how things have changed (or how they haven’t) for women in the wine industry over the past two decades. 

As always, we’ll line your stomachs well with hearty snacking from North Street Deli, a Clapham institution.
