Our Aim

Championing women in our industry will always be the main aim for all of our activities. We believe that the forum we have created provides women with a strong network to positively impact their professional development.

We are a growing community of women working in the wine industry embarking upon personal and professional growth. We explore the key issues we face by way of debate and discussion.

We Value

We value women at all points in their career. We aim to foster relationships and enhance industry knowledge by providing opportunities to contribute to a dynamic and engaged community.

We Connect

We connect with all corners of the industry at our programme of events.  We hold these events to highlight professional successes and the impact women have on our industry.

We wanted to meet peers, discuss career aspirations and gain insights about the industry we work in.

The business of wine is long established in London and has fostered a diverse scene of on-trade, off-trade, hospitality and wine production expertise. That being said, there are few opportunities to meet peers and discuss wine industry developments in the city. So in October 2015, over a glass of Riesling on the South Bank of the River Thames, Women in Wine LDN was formed.

As the number of women working in the wine industry continues to grow, we needed a group that represented our career aspirations and working experiences.  We took inspiration from existing groups in wine and hospitality as well as business, arts and digital to build an organisation we are proud to be apart of and promote. We are increasingly humbled by the growth of the group in such a short period of time and continue to be inspired by the women we meet.
